Tools and Tutorials
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provide a synthetic tool to display large amounts of complex information in easily understandable formats. The Molluscan Ecology Program is exploring GIS to facilitate discussions of long-term stock assessment data in support of management actions and provide information and educational tools in support of public and industry outreach, as well as classroom education at both high school and college levels.
