Your gifts help VIMS make a difference
The Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) has a three-part mission to conduct interdisciplinary research in coastal ocean and estuarine science, educate students and citizens, and provide advisory service to policy makers, industry, and the public.
Essential to this mission is support provided by generous donors who make possible cutting-edge research, facilities, technology, and equipment; resources for faculty; and competitive scholarships that attract the best students.
