Office of Communications

The Office of Communications is led by Director [[v|jwallace,John Wallace]]. Our staff disseminates the results of our research and educational activities to the press via news releases, access to still images and video clips, and by guiding reporters to in-house expertise. We also share stories directly with the public through our website and our social media channels.

Office of Outreach & Engagement

The Office of Outreach & Engagement is led by Director [[v|mcguire,Sarah Nuss]]. The team translates Batten School & VIMS science into learning experiences and partnerships that increase environmental literacy, foster stewardship and inspire the next generation of coastal leaders. 

Print & Website Services

Our Publications Center & Print Shop assists faculty, staff and students by designing and printing paper documents such as technical reports, class materials, scientific posters and promotional brochures. Our team also maintains the Batten School & VIMS website, and assists other personnel in the use of our Cascade^© web-content management system.
