Office of Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs manages VIMS research funds provided by external sources. The staff handles both pre- and post-award activity including funding searches, applications submissions, award negotiations and financial and compliance administration. It is OSP's mission to:
- Provide outstanding and timely service to VIMS research community
- Advocate for and protect the interests of the Commonwealth, the institution and researchers in interactions with sponsors
- Maintain the highest standards of accountability in all aspects of research management
