This shoreline decision tool was built to help you choose the most effective erosion control option for your shoreline; it's easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Open the Shoreline Decision Support Tool  (at home or on any mobile device).
  2. Answer a series of questions about the conditions on your shoreline.
  3. Click on ‘Submit My Answers’ and a summary window will open that describes the recommended strategy - from bulkheads and riprap, to determining if a living shoreline is right for you!
