About
Rob Hale focuses on environmental chemistry and associated toxicological outcomes; primarily the sources, fate, exposure to and impacts of synthetic organic pollutants and microplastics on ecosystems and human health. To accomplish this, he integrates modern analytical chemistry techniques and collaborates with investigators across other fields such as toxicology. Prior to joining the VIMS faculty, he was employed as a Sr. Environmental Research Chemist at Mobil Corp. In Princeton, NJ.
