The Batten School & VIMS campus will be closed on Monday, March 15 due to the National Weather Service prediction for severe weather including periods of rain, damaging winds and the potential for tornadoes.
ChesMMAP fishes from the R/V Virginia, a 93' twin diesel-engine vessel capable of housing crew and scientists for multi-day deployments. The vessel is fully equipped with navigational electronics, dry lab, wet lab, galley, mess and sleeping quarters.
