About

My position as teaching faculty gives me the opportunity to devote my time and energy to helping students learn and succeed. Whether that's in the classroom or one-on-one stats consultations, working with students is the best part of the job. While I'm not in a position to take new students as an advisor, I love to be on committees whenever a student feels like I might be able to provide a unique insight or help with their project. As someone who has been through grad school at both VIMS and W&M and that teaches marine science courses for undergraduates, please feel free to reach out if you are considering VIMS for grad school or W&M for marine science.
