Research Interest
My program is the developer's group of a widely accepted open-source community model for coupled hydrodynamic, hydrologic processes (physics-biochemistry), SCHISM ({{https://ccrm.vims.edu/schismweb/,schism.wiki}}). The model serves as the core model for USEPA, NOAA and a number of state and international agencies. My research covers a broad range of topics from fundamental numerical methods to real-world applications. In addition, I'm also the developer of a street-level, subgrid model for inundation. My program is also part of Virginia Commonwealth Center of Excellence for Environmental Forecasting.
