 Tribe Responses allows faculty, staff and students easily create simple web forms.  Once built the link to the form can be sent directly to your users or can be embedded on a Cascade web page. 

Opinio, an online survey tool that allows faculty, staff and students to build online surveys for academic and administrative purposes.

Resources at VIMS

Hargis Library has an extensive collection of books available online that cover many aspects of information technology.  This resource is only available to members of the VIMS and William and Mary community.

ColdFusion

We have a few people at VIMS that use ColdFusion for web application development.  For an overview of what ColdFusion is and what it can do for you, visit Adobe Systems Inc's Director of Platform Evangelism Ben Forta's web site.

To support our ColdFusion users, a web site has been created using William and Mary resources that can be found here: creating your own blogs and dynamic web pages .  These resources are available to the entire William and Mary community and you are encourage to check them out!

Scientific Computing

MatLab, high-level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis, and numeric computation.  MATLAB  for faculty and students is available from William and Mary for Windows and Mac.
