Group Tours

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Eastern Shore Laboratory

VIMS Eastern Shore Laboratory offers tours for civic clubs, middle- and high-school age students, and the general public throughout the year Monday through Friday during business hours. These tours include an introduction and a look into our lab spaces, shellfish nursery and hatchery.

Public Monthly Seminar Series

Science by the Sea is a public seminar series featuring talks from scientists on coastal and marine topics. Seminars are held on the first Wednesday of each month February- October, with the topics updated below as they are confirmed. See individual lecture descriptions listed below. E-mail sakh@vims.edu or call 757-787-8105 if you have any questions.
