What a difference a week makes! These two images from NASA's Worldview Snapshots shows snow cover across the Chesapeake Bay watershed before and after Monday's storm. The before photo is from December 26th, the most recent cloud-free day before the storm's passage on January 3rd. Some areas of east central Virginia saw around a foot of snow.
