VIMS Tidewatch Modeling

The Tidewatch Operational Coastal Flooding models at VIMS are two distinct systems, Tidewatch Charts, and the Tidewatch Map.

The Tidewatch Charts are available at bayinfo/tidewatch/stations/index and are extrapolated from recent water height observations using both a tidal and a surge model.

The Tidewatch Map is available at https://cmap2.vims.edu/SCHISM/TidewatchViewer.html and is the product of SCHISM model runs in the local area, forced by river discharge, tides, and a NWS atmospheric model
