Other Ways to Get Involved in Marine Science

Marine Science Society 

Students interested in marine science, whether enrolled in the minor or not, are strongly encouraged to join the Marine Science Society (MSS), one of William & Mary's student organizations. MSS connects students who are passionate and curious about marine science, introduces them to resources in marine science, and promotes a welcoming atmosphere for learning and discussion about some of the environmental problems affecting the ocean today. In past years the club has organized beach picnics, kayaking trips, and various volunteering opportunities.
