MAP’s shellfish aquaculture extension specialist offers a statewide advisory service program addressing informational, educational and research needs of citizens, businesses, government agencies and educational institutions involved in, and affected by, shellfish aquaculture and associated marine resource management issues. The science-based information and assistance to the molluscan shellfish aquaculture sectors maximize efficiency, economy, and address impediments to the industry’s sustainable growth.
