Hack the Bay

For the last several years, CBNERR-VA has helped develop the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative's Data Explorer. This web application now distributes more than 280,000 water quality samples collected by a large network of citizen scientist groups located throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Hack the Bay is an effort to explore these data.  Sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton, in partnership with the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative, this month-long hackathon seeks to empower decision-making and inspire action for watershed restoration.  Data scientists, developers, designers, problem solvers, and storytellers are invited to take part!

Registration is due by Friday, July 24th. Details can be found here.
