Everything is connected to everything else - somehow, someway.
I am interested in ecological connections (e.g., dispersal among regions, water flows), and people connections (e.g., how people's relationship affect their decisions). As a PhD student I am looking at both ecological and people connectivity along Chesapeake Bay shorelines. I am interested in how living shorelines (created marsh habitat) are ecologically connected to natural marshes and how a person's relationships can affect their decision making when they decide if and how to develop their shoreline.
