Former Fiscal Manager of the Center for Gifted Education at the School of Education with William & Mary. Azizi dedicated 9 years to the City of Norfolk prior to joining the W&M family. A SUNY Plattsburgh graduate (04’ B.A. in Art History; Acquisitions/Conservation) from Brooklyn, New York; who believes she is a novice marine biologist at heart. A proud supporter of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Azizi has an oyster garden as a part of the “Clean the Bay effort.” A retired Virginia Beach Jaycee, she hosted the Annual Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships where she was the Director of Volunteer Services from 2012-2016. Azizi enjoys being out on the water in any shape form or fashion. An avid surfer, paddleboarder, and kayaker who enjoys adventure, the great outdoors, and traveling! In her spare time she likes to bake, garden, ride motorcycles, and work outdoors. “Anything that keeps me aligned with and out in nature, I’m going to do it.”
