The Virginia Institute of Marine Science is committed to providing its postdoctoral associates with the individualized tools and support needed to optimize their time here. Our primary goal is to foster an engaged, visible, and supportive postdoctoral community. In order to do this, we offer a variety of events and resources to enhance the postdoc's career building, networking, job satisfaction, work-life balance, and productivity. Postdocs are encouraged to become involved in postdoctoral program development by attending our monthly postdoctoral program committee meeting (link).
