Both surf clams and ocean quahogs support major offshore fisheries, and our laboratory has worked with the Northeast Fisheries Science Center of NMFS at Woods Hole, Dr. Eric Powell at Rutgers University, and the offshore clam industry for over a decade in stock assessment and fishing gear performance.
