Research Interests

I am interested in studying the biogeochemical cycles of trace metals in groundwater as it flows into the coastal ocean. As groundwater flows into the sea as submarine groundwater discharge, freshwater and seawater recirculate through the sediments along the coast. This mixing affects biogeochemical cycles and metal budgets into the coastal ocean.
