The Multispecies Fisheries Research Program employees a hardworking group of individuals.

Over the past 10 years of ChesMMAP and 5 years of NEAMAP our staff has spent approximately 576 days in the Chesapeake Bay and Nearshore Mid-Atlantic trawling.

When our staff is not trawling or preparing for a cruise they are vigorously working to process samples in our laboratories:

Over the past 10 years ~30,000 ChesMMAP Otoliths and 30,000 ChesMMAP Stomachs have been processed.

Over the past 5 years ~15,000 NEAMAP Otoliths and 30,000 NEAMAP Stomachs have been processed.
