Research Interests

My interests are artificial fishing reefs (finfish-reef interaction and fishing productivity); hook-release mortality in marine recreational fisheries; bycatch reduction in commercial and recreational fisheries; and recreational angler tagging programs.

  • Release mortality rate in the recreational fishery for summer flounder
  • Release mortality rate in the recreational fishery for tautog
  • Assisting with writing of Virginia Artificial Reef Plan
