Male and female crabs

Male blue crabs (L) are called Jimmies. Their abdomen is shaped like the Washington Monument. Females (R) are called Sooks. Their abdomen looks like the dome of the U.S. Capitol. © K. Forrest.

I learned that female crabs have a circular triangle on the back of them, and that males have this long triangular shape, and that’s what I learned!!
