How bioluminescence works
Today I learned how bioluminescence works.
It works like this, you have a special cell and when it bumps up against something the cytoplasm and nucleus light up or give off light.
And sometimes the cells attach to animals and plants in the ocean and sometimes even people and boats.
Krill and shrimp are usually bioluminescent.
