VIMS Chesapeake Bay Model - The Primary
Domain (coarse grid)
A Coarse grid Hydrodynamic Eutrophication Model (HEM-3D) has been developed covering the entire Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. This model can be used to predict tide, current and salinity distributions at low resolution throughout the Bay. It can also be used to investigate eutrophication processes (water quality) and the transport of water-borne materials anywhere within the Bay.
