Research Interests
My thesis involves analyzing and updating current knowledge of the reproductive biology of striped bass (Morone saxatilis) in tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. Additionally, I will be studying the effects of mycobacteriosis disease on striped bass reproduction. The goal of this research is to determine whether or not mycobacteriosis infection affects the reproduction of female striped bass, which could have implementations for future generations of fish and future population size.
