The VIMS Communications Department works to disseminate the results of VIMS research and educational activities to the media and the public via news releases, the Crest Newsletter, public symposia, an extensive on-line database of still images and video clips, and by guiding journalists to in-house expertise in a wide variety of marine science fields.
