2008 VIMS Awards

The VIMS  Awards Ceremony, held each year in May, honors recipients of  Service and Student Awards.

Student Awards

These annual awards recognize selected Ph.D. and Master's students in the School of Marine Science at VIMS for outstanding acheivements during 2008. Awards are presented in the following categories:

Special Awards

These awards recognize faculty, staff, and volunteers for outstanding annual and career acheivements. Awards are presented in the following categories:

Outstanding Classified Employee Awards
Faculty Awards
Freeman Volunteer of the Year Award
This award is named for Robert Mallory Freeman, a former VIMS Council member and avid supporter who passed away in 2004.
