What is household
hazardous waste?
Cleaning solvents, aerosol cans, fluorescent bulbs (including CFLs),
mercury thermometers, smoke alarms, furniture polish, chlorine bleach,
drain cleaner, lighter fluid, kerosene, brake fluid, antifreeze,
batteries, oil-based paint, paint thinner, pesticides, ammunition,
epoxies, propane tanks.
Household hazardous waste can
be recycled on the 3rd Saturday of April at the Middle Peninsula
Landfill and Recycling Center, and the 3rd Saturday of October at the
Guinea Road Convenience Center.

9am-1pm at the Tewning Rd Convenience Center.
