    • Organized and taught children's programs on marine biology. Age group: 4 - 15 years old
    • Gave tours of the laboratory to the public
  • 70+ hours of work in high school classrooms in upstate New York: observations, interacting with small groups of students (2002)
  • Counselor for National Student Athlete Day, SUNY Potsdam (2001) -Worked with local high school athletes on sportsmanship, team building skills, and how to become a college athlete

Personal: I love anything involving the outdoors, but my favorite activities are horseback riding, rock climbing, surfing, SCUBA diving, and hiking
