Research interests: My primary research interests involve anthropogenic contaminant disruption of the immune system in estuarine fauna. The ebb and flow of tides in estuaries provides a complex and variable exposure pattern for many mobile and sessile species. I am interested in examining contaminants as stressors in the marine system and subsequent increases in susceptibilities to various pathogens. Major advisor: Dr. Michael Unger |
