Deborah Bronk, Principal Investigator (VIMS)
Dr. Bronk's role in DOMINO is to manage the project and to conduct the wet chemical and mass spectrometric analysis from the carbon and nitrogen uptake and release studies.

Walker Smith (VIMS)
Dr. Walker Smith is responsible for maintaining algal cultures and conducting experiments on primary production and carbon release.

Deborah Steinberg (VIMS)
Dr. Deborah Steinberg is responsible for establishing and maintaining ciliate cultures and for providing the mesozooplankton for the release studies.

Craig Carlson (UC Santa Barbara)
Dr. Craig Carlson's role in DOMINO is to manage the UCSB component of the project. He provides expertise in the areas of microbial dynamics and processing of organic matter.

David Malmquist (VIMS)
Dr. Malmquist coordinates the educational component of DOMINO, including this web site, the mini-school program, and the interactive carbon model and display. He is the director of VIMS' Communications Department, which includes the Public Relations Office and the Publications Center.

Grace Henderson (VIMS)
Grace Henderson is a Ph.D. student in the lab of Dr. Deborah Steinberg at VIMS. Her role in DOMINO is to explore the role of mesozooplankton and microzooplankton grazers in the production of dissolved organic matter (DOM).

Rob Condon Rob Condon (VIMS)
Rob Condon is a Ph.D. student in the lab of Dr. Deborah Steinberg at VIMS. His role in DOMINO is to explore the effects of DOM excretion by the lobate ctenophore Mnemiopsis leidyi on organic matter cycling and heterotrophic bacterioplankton in the York River estuary.
