A Guide for Using and Developing Data for the Classroom Providing data in a format appropriate for use in the classroom is a challenge to both researchers and educators. Posting data on the web allows researchers to share their results with the world. For educators, using data in the classroom helps to illustrate learning principles and facilitate the investigative process for students. However, it is often difficult for educators to find data on the web that are presented in a format that can be easily used in the classroom. With this challenge in mind, we hope that both researchers and educators will use the following criteria when posting and using data on the web. Good data : Good data representation
