MAMEA
The Mid-Atlantic Marine Education Association is an organization of people
whose common goal is to improve education about all aspects of marine and
aquatic environments. Members come from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North
Carolina, the District of Columbia, and adjoining states and represent many
organizations and programs.
NSTA
The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), founded in 1944 and headquartered
in Arlington, Virginia, is the largest organization in the world committed
to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning
for all. NSTA's current membership of more than 53,000 includes science
teachers, science supervisors, administrators, scientists, business and
industry representatives, and others involved in and committed to science
education.
NMEA
The National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) brings together those interested
in the study and enjoyment of the world of water--both fresh and salt. NMEA provides
a valuable focus for marine and aquatic studies world-wide.
