Background:
Before joining the NERRS Program at VIMS in 2006 I worked for 6 years in the sea turtle and marine mammal stranding field. By joining NERRS I was able to change my focus to the estuarine ecosystem as a whole with a primary focus on water quality.
Research Duties:
I provide laboratory, field, and data support for the Chesapeake Bay NERR research and water quality monitoring programs including calibration, maintenance, and deployment of YSI6600EDS data sondes, field sampling, and sample processing.
