Central Shark -A great interactive site that poses a humorous debate over "coolness" between sharks and dolphins. Students have an opportunity to learn more about the biology of sharks and dolphins and take part in online activities.

Shark Trust - a European organization which promotes the study, management, and conservation of sharks, skates and rays. Provides concise information on why sharks and rays are under threat and why they should be saved. You will also find a comprehensive section on the great white, as well as information on other species found in Mediterranean and British waters.
Sharks and Their Relatives - This site covers the following shark biology subjects: scientific classification, habitat and distribution, senses, behavior, physical characteristics, diet, reproduction, anatomy and physiology, hydrodynamics, and longevity. Also included is a shark lesson plan.
Marine Fisheries Series Activity Guide - Peer-reviewed activities for grades 6-12 as well as non-traditional educational venues are available. Each activity has been correlated to National Science and Social Studies Educational Standards. Activities cover topics including sustainable fishing methods, bycatch, fishing technologies, aquaculture practices, and costs and benefits related to fisheries and aquaculture production. Activities link well with Habitat Media's documentaries Empty Oceans, Empty Nets and Farming the Seas but can be used as stand-alones also.
