DataStreme Ocean - An online ocean science course from the American Meteorological Society for K-12 teachers. This course explores the ocean within the Earth system with special emphasis on (1) water and energy flow into and out of the ocean, (2) the internal properties of the ocean, (3) interactions between the ocean and the other components of the Earth system, and (4) human/societal impacts.

Understanding Aquatic Nuisance Species and their Terrestrial Counterparts - An online course from The Dauphin Island Sea Lab and the J.L. Scott Marine Education Center and Aquarium, this 3 week workshop will have presentations and interactive question and answer sessions on invasive jellyfish, plants, crabs, and nutria. Course runs March 8-26, 2004.

COSEE West Online Education - Free online courses offered from COSEE (Center for Ocean Sciences Excellence) West and the College of Exploration. Past topics included coral reef ecology. Check back often to learn about future online professional development opportunities.
