Research Interests

I am interested in coastal and estuarine science because of its important impact on both marine systems and human settlements. I enjoy studying the intersection of microbiology, parasitology, policy, and invertebrate biology. My PhD project has an emphasis on parasitology, biogeography, and evolutionary biology. Pathology, disease, and organismal health are also topics of interest to me.
