Geddings House / Page House Reservations

Geddings House is the guest house for visiting faculty, staff and scientists. It is situated on the Institute campus on the edge of the York River, with its own landscaped grounds.The house contains a large living room with TV, and adjacent dining area; a screen porch; a fully equipped kitchen; one full bath with shower upstairs, and one half bath downstairs.There are three bedrooms consisting of one single room, and two double rooms with twin beds in each. The house is fully heated in winter. In summer, there is air conditioning only in the downstairs portion of the house. All the bedrooms have window ventilation and ceiling fans.
The current rate is $15.00 per person per night, subject to change by the Institute's Budget Office. Reservations and/or additional information for Geddings House may be obtained by contacting Debbie Galvez (x7090) or Barbara West (x7096). Normally, reservations are limited to a maximum stay of two weeks, but extensions may be granted by the Budget Office in extenuating circumstances. On occasions when there are many requests for reservations, it may be necessary for guests to share a room. All non-Institute visiting faculty, staff and students are required to have an Institute sponsor.
- Page House is the student commons, and is administered by the Graduate Student Association. It consists of a large living area with TV; fully equipped kitchen; game room with pool table; student offices; one full bathroom with shower, and two guest bedrooms. Each bedroom contains two twin beds, and has heat and window air conditioning.
Only Institute or visiting students may stay in the Page House guest rooms. The current rate is $10.00 per person per night, which is subject to change by the Institute's Budget Office in agreement with the Graduate Student Association.
