Faculty - contributions make it possible for VIMS to attract and retain the best researchers from all over the world. 

Outreach - VIMS faculty, students and staff provide accurate information and advice to industry, educational groups and the public and maintain an aquarium and touch tank which is free and open to the public. 

Students - scholarships and fellowships support future leaders in the field.
