Biography

Erin is the Public Relations/Web Specialist in the Communications Office at VIMS.  Erin holds a B.A. in Communication from Virginia Tech, with a concentration in Public Relations. 

Erin's main responsibilities at VIMS are to maintain and create web content within the Cascade Content Management System so that the information on the VIMS website is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date for maximal use by external and internal audiences. She assists other Cascade users at VIMS, and coordinates with managers of affiliated websites to provide content and maximize consistency in look, feel, and navigation. She also contributes to our marketing efforts and social-media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, and LinkedIn), and assists Publications Center staff as needed in the design and layout of printed publications.
