Duties/specialties:
Coordinate projects for the Aquaculture Genetics and Breeding Technology Center (ABC) by facilitating resource scheduling, developing database management and disseminating information in support of ABC's mission.
Prepare reports, assist with publications, and direct independent projects.
Current Projects:
Research Manager for the Comparative field trials of triploid Crassostrea ariakensis with C. virginica. (www.vims.edu/vsc)
This project is designed to compare triploid C. virginica to triploid C. ariakensis in growth, mortality, condition, reversion, disease and gametogenesis.
The project is in concert with the Virginia Seafood Council's "Economic analysis of triploid C. ariakensis aquaculture".
