This is the story of a girl and a yellow submarine. The story is brief and enigmatic and not available online. But if you must know it, here is the briefest synopsis ever:
I used to teach kids and we would run around in the woods and catch amphibians. Then I wigged out, and wandered the earth by foot, plane, train, car, icebreaker, barge, and submarine between 80 S latitude and 55 N latitude. And now I study bacteria. I am most interested in microbial ecology, bacterial diversity and interactions on marine snow, and the ecology of extreme environments. I am secondarily interested in breakfast cereals.
